We handle insurance claims and install train protection systems in passenger and freight trains. We hire out personnel and machine services and provide field service with our own vehicle patrols covering large parts of Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.

At the locomotive depot in Falköping, we receive railway machinery from all over Scandinavia. Our efforts are guided entirely by our customers' needs. We receive rail vehicles and freight cars for maintenance, conversion, or new construction of superstructures. We repair collision damage and install safety systems. We replace drive trains and carry out painting work. Among many other things.
Our roundhouse has 24 spaces for vehicles with a wheelbase of up to 20 meters. The main workshop has two 120-meter-long tracks. The yard has a 600-meter-long track. There is also a washing and painting hall, lifting jacks, overhead cranes, and plenty of parking spaces for rail vehicles.
Thanks to our combined resources, we handle all aspects of a customer assignment in-house. Managing larger projects is made easier by our own mechanical workshop, which has the capacity for advanced manufacturing of components in short series, and by a very well-equipped hydraulics department.
Sometimes our customers need rapid response at the location of their vehicles. For this purpose, we have service vehicles that can be dispatched at short notice when the need arises. When our field service organization is fully developed, BS Verkstäder's vehicle patrols will be able to handle maintenance and repairs in large parts of Sweden, Norway, and Denmark.
